Book Study

Saint Brigids hosts a continuing book study group and invites all readers interested in joining our conversations to participate. We meet in a casual, relaxed setting to discuss and reflect on what we have read. Interested in joining a group? Here’s all you need to know:

The Path To Your Door

Heidi, Mike and Richard have organised a book study featuring “The Path to Your Door” by Ellen Clark-King.

Times & Locations

Sept 23, Oct 7 and 21, Nov 4 and 18 @ 10.30am at the Cathedral

Further Details

The group will meet every two weeks to discuss what we have read. Each group will have no more than 8-10 members participating in the discussion.

Next Steps

  1. Email Heidi at or Richard at to let them know you’re coming
  2. Purchase or take out book from your local library.  Amazon, Chapters, or Regent College’s bookstore are good options to purchase the book from.  If you need a copy and cannot get a hold of one for any reason, let Heidi know.
  3. Read the assigned sections of the book
  4. Show up at the group meeting

** Each book study group will be capped at 8-10 people.  This means we could have several awesome book studies going on at once!  And not to worry: Michael, Richard, and I will help you get started!

About This Study

Studies like this one offer a casual, relaxed, and intentional space for reflection and discussion – no matter what your starting point. Throughout the year we offer multiple opportunities to engage in discussion about about a topic related to Christian faith.

These groups provide time and a safe space to build community outside of Sunday evening Eucharist, and are opportunities to ask questions, nurture your faith, or find ways to live that faith everyday.
